You’ll need to do this for public and private networks - this option should be in your firewall settings. Make sure you disable both third-party and built-in firewalls (like the Windows Defender firewall). To find out whether this is the problem, you’ll need to temporarily disable your firewall to see if it fixes things. If you’re using a firewall, it could be blocking your VPN client. This clears the memory cache and stops any code which isn’t working properly so the VPN can start fresh.
